Our Story

Coast Runner Outfitters is a family owned and operated company. Started in 2022, Captain Donny and his wife Stephanie followed Donny’s passion and started Coast Runner. Both Donny and Stephanie grew up in northwest Ohio and moved to Wakulla area in 2008. Since then Captain Donny has spent the last 16 years understand and learning the local waters. And also learning the habitats of fish, ducks, hogs, scallops and alligators.

Captain Donny’s passion for waterfowl lead him on the chase on the complete his 43 slam, which he complete in 2022. Captain Donny travels to numerous countries to pursue his water fowl passion. Along with waterfowl, Captain Donny also fell in love with Florida fishing. After spending 16 years own the local waters he has you covered. Starting out from bass fishing local lakes in Tallahassee to the rivers and the shores of Wakulla County. Then soon after he learned inshore fishing for Trout, Reds, Triple Tail and Flounder. He ended learning off-shore fishing for grouper, snapper, kings, and wahoos!

After two years of Coast Runner being open we have several guides working for the company and have all your fishing/hunting needs covered. Along with guides, during school breaks you may get lucky and have our son Little Donny on Deck with you.
